The other day I realized that I needed to change the title of my blog. Now I realize that it’s still a couple weeks away before the wedding and so it’s not officially "Our Life", but everyone else seems to be calling our blog "Adam & Abbey" on their blogs so I figured what the heck! It’s just a technicality right? Besides, Adam has already become a big part of my blog entries so it might as well be dedicated to us and not just me. I don't know if I am quite ready to give him edit rights yet though - that could be scary. Plus he already gets mad at me for posting about him so I would be afraid he would erase all the wonderful things I say about him. (He thinks I am ruining his reputation). In fact he made me promise I wouldn't post pictures or too much detail about what he did for me for Valentine’s Day (yeah, he threatened to not give me my 'gift'). So I’ll just say it was a great day and Adam did a good job being creative!
Maybe someday I'll let him contribute more........

FIRST FLOWERS!!
So for weeks I've been teasing Adam about the fact that we're getting married and he's never given me flowers -at first he claimed that it was because I had said I didn't like flowers. Well, I DEFINATELY do not remember saying that! Well with Valentine’s Day approaching, I started telling him things like don't buy me Roses on Valentine’s Day because they are so expensive. My aunt, who has worked in a floral shop even gave him advice. So imagine my surprise when Adam came to pick me up on Friday - a week before Valentine’s Day - with a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses!!! I was so excited I almost started to cry - accompanying the flowers he gave me the sweetest love letter too and that really made me almost cry and I had to squeeze his hand real hard to keep the tears from flowing ( I mean I didn't want to ruin my mascara!). What a lucky girl am I!

Du du du looking at my back door
So I live in Boise right? Well for those of you reading this who aren't in Boise, let me just tell you that I grew up in the Treasure Valley and I've spent the last 4 years in Boise, but never never do I remember seeing this much snow here!!! Now I also spent 4 years in Logan so I know what winter is all about (I mean how many people get a snow day at college? Yeah, it happened), but this is just not normal for Boise. And if it does snow in Boise it doesn't stick around. Not this year, I don't even remember the last time I didn't see snow somewhere on the ground! This picture is what I woke up this morning, just like the many others with new snow in the last month or so. Crazy.
