And here we go - Part 4...

Of course I saved the best part for last!  This brought back some really great memories of crazy adventures!  I actually already have similar picture taken from either Alaina or Sara's camera, but we'll start with a few from my newly developed film:

Yep Skydiving time!!!!  Oh my gosh this was one of the funnest things I have ever done!

This one cracks me up... well mostly because I was cracking up at something when it was taken.. What was so funny?  We will probably never know but it appears to have come from Dan's mouth, so could be just about anything.
Alaina getting all checked and ready to go!  Nice goggles girl!
And I walk away to my death, err I mean adventure!

OK, since I actually do have more pictures of this, I thought it would be fun to share more!   First off, I must say Skydiving was amazing and it was so fun to do it with good friends.  The whole thing was part of a fundraising event that a friend was promoting.   Dive for Diabetes.  It was raising money for a group that plans activities for those with Diabetes to encourage them to get out and try new fun things.  Well since Sky Idaho had significantly reduced the price, and I couldn't stand the pressure I was getting to go, I finally gave in and signed up!   I am so so glad I did! (NOTE: there was something wrong with this camera and all the pictures have a fuzzy middle... don't know why!)
Here is our group before getting on all our equipment, Sara, Me, Some girl we didn't know, and Alaina.  All smiles before!
Sara getting all fitted up
And ready to go!
And my turn!
Here I am receiving instruction on what to do in the air!  Arch your back!!!
Thats our plain!
Getting up there!
And here I come

Nice landing!

This is me saying please get me out of this harness!  When you are in the air, they adjust the harness so your legs are up, only problem is when you try to walk back on the ground, it doesn't work so well!

And look!  All smiles after!!

And 1 year later I would do it all again!
This time Family style!

PS... I am feeling slightly nostalgic lately.. so just watch out, more flashback posts may be coming your way!

And here we go - Part 3...

Part 3 is a little more fun and a flashback of a more recent post.  I just recently posted about my Grandpa and the excellent fisherman he is; but unfortunately in that post I didn't have a single picture of him catching a fish.  But jump back 5 years and I have some good ones!
First off there is my dad!  Isn't he cute in his suspenders!  We Heck's are lacking a little in the back and sometimes a little extra is needed to keep the pants up... I'll trade suspenders for the alternative any day!
This is Grandpa's fish!  It was big enough they needed a net because it would have broke the fishing line!
Bringing it in.

Checking it out
Yep, Looks good!!!

And here we go - Part 2...

Alrighty, so Part 1, not so bad, nothing embarrassing right?  Part 2 will also be less than exciting. Only 1 picture:

Firebird Raceway...
Yep thats it, apparently this adventure was so exciting I only managed 1 picture... Actually, if I remember right we may have had a friend racing that night.   I can't really remember for sure though since I think I went to Firebird on a couple of occasions.

Parts 3 and 4 to come soon... Part 4 is my favorite of the bunch!

And here we go - Part 1...

So first off, yes they still develop 35mm film, second even if its been 10 years the film still comes out OK; well maybe I can't say that for sure because my film is only 5 years old... ahhh good old 2005!!! Most of you needn't worry because well, they wasn't anything too embarrassing and really not a whole lot of interesting pictures.  But some good memories nonetheless; and most interesting because its spans activities over 2 states and 4 cities!.  So without further adieu, here are the findings on the camera!

We start our journey in one of my most favorite places EVER!  The Oregon Coast!

Pretty sure this is from an Institute Choir Trip and this is the view from our Hotel Room.   Love, love, LOVE the Oregon Coast!

And LOVE Canon Beach!   Hello Goonie's Rock!

And just about the worst picture ever, taken at none other than Mo's.  I am pretty sure I can only make out like 3 people in this picture!!!

Stay tuned for parts 2, 3 and 4!!!

What's This? What's This?!

Last week there was a marathon of the show "Hoarders".  Have you seen it?  Its fascinatingly disgusting!     While I am positive I am not anywhere near as bad as the people on that show, I do realize I have a few things in my closets to clean out.  And this is one of them:

I've had this roll for so many years that I honestly don't know whats on it... I am pretty sure its from a time frame of 2002 to 2005.  This isn't the first time I've looked at it and said, I should get that developed.  But today is the first time I will actually walk out the door with it and turn it in.  I just hope it hasn't sat for so long that it is damaged.   I am committing, right here, right now, that whatever is on it, I will share it right here. So if you were associated with me from 2002 to 2005 you are officially warned....

Current Thoughts

Crab Dip is delicious
I've burnt myself twice in the last week; once by curling iron, once by a hot pot
I love running
My hair confuses me
I will be making THIS VERY SOON
My oven needs, gulp, cleaned... any volunteers?
I hate running
Blue football fields are the best, but I'm glad there is only one
Friday night I will be cleaning my oven
Surprisingly, I like driving a truck
Yes my oven is "self"cleaning.. I will be cleaning it MY"SELF"
I confess, I dig marching band
Correction..I love running when the weather is nice
I have yet to find the perfect mascara, any suggestions?
Seriously, anyone want to clean my oven?
For that matter, anyone want to clean my whole house?
I love softball
I miss her:

And want to hold her now:

And here him laugh:

Being an Aunt Rocks

So does being a Wife

A fish story

This is my grandpa...

He's the best fisherman in Ontario... Just ask him!

This is my Skeptic Husband Adam
He didn't quite believe me when I told him that when you go fishing with Grandpa your pretty much guaranteed to pull in at least a hundred fish.

Here is my Mom enjoying the BEAUTIFUL day
She was the first to catch a fish... on her first cast... before anyone else had gotten their poles in the water

This is my dad
He wont look at me.

Oh but look!  He caught a fish!

Adam wouldn't smile while holding his catch
Could be whole slew of reasons why.. I'll let you decide.

Here my dad and I are both bringing one in!

Yep, thats the way its done!

And this is how much fish we had after about 10 minutes
Sorry its blurry!  Those darn fish don't like being out of the water!

I love this pole
Yep, I caught my fish with an Ugly Stick!

After a few hours we had enough and went home
Lovely hour long boat ride back out of Owhyee Resevoir

And our whole haul
I think Adam is a believer now!  We filled a whole ice chest, about 150 fish.

And then the best fisherman in Ontario has to go to work cleaning em up
I am so glad that Adam got to go fishing with my Grandpa!  Thanks so much Grandpa for a fabulous day of fishing!  We love you!

I WON!!!

Are you kidding me???? I actually won a contest I entered on a blog!!!!  Not only that but it was a super cool contest!!   The designer of that cute dress made for my niece, Chelsea over at PinkFig Design was hosting a contest to win some prizes, including patterns.   All I had to do was making comments on her BEAUTIFUL pictures she took on her trip to England & Paris.  How hard is that!  I just had to remember to go on everyday, check the pictures out and comment, and what do you know I actually won!  Not the grandprize winner, but the runner up prizes aren't too shabby!  I will be getting some of her 2010 patterns, including ones that aren't out yet... so that means I have to wait awhile for my prize but thats OK!!!!

Here is the post that showed I won!!
