January 19-25

Grandma and Grandpa Button came over again to help with Bookshelves on Monday and brought Great Grandma and Grandpa Button with them.  They got a big kick out of riding on grandpa's walker!

More cooking class!  We made their favorite, smoothies!   These were not quite as healthy as the ones we make but they were super yummy!

Charlie had two kinds of dipping sauce for his nuggets, he deemed then Yellow like the Suns and Red like the Cardinals!  Kid kills me!
We went to the zoo this week, finally broke down and bought a membership!  The weather was perfect and we loved it!  I even managed to figure out how to fold up the triple so we could get it in the van!   We were quite a spectacle with this thing and got TONS of comments!

Even this one had a great time!

And I can't hardly believe that 1 year ago I was admitted to the hospital when this one tried to scare us with an extra extra early arrival.  Thank goodness for prayers and modern medicine that kept her put for 5 more weeks!

January 12-18

I made Adella a nightgown, her first!   She loved it, though was confused at first why she would wear a dress to bed.  She then deemed it dress jamies, so all was good!
Painting with Nora (who was actually more interested in snacks)

Charlie was helping Adella with a puzzle by handing her pieces.

All ready for story time!

Charlie was in the laundry basket 'fishing'.  I think we need to get these kids some play poles because they've been caught fishing off the back of the couch too!

All three playing with the bead maze!

Cooking class!  We made lots of yummy food people and animals!  This was an apple robot!

Grandma and Grandpa Button and Uncle Isaac, Aunt Julie, Bristol and Nate came over to help put in shelves.  These kids played pretty well together and had lots of fun!   That's a lot of Buttons in one chair!

Grandma read books to try to get them to go to sleep.  Didn't work!

Before the cousins got there, they had lots of fun playing outside

Sorry, super bad lighting, Charlie had to run inside to get his tools to work on the roof of his truck.  It seems Grandpa was on the roof of the shed working so Charlie decided he needed to do the same!

Adella had to work too!

I love when they give each other rides in the back of the truck!

On Sunday we played Candyland for the first time!  Charlie won in 3 spins.  Seriously, lucky duck!

January 1-11 2015!

Welcome to 2015!   I'm not making any major changes to my blog plan, it's probably going to go about like it was - a weekly post, hopefully mostly staying on top of it, but I will get behind I know at some points!

I already shared part of our New Years when we were in Tuscon, but I didn't show these pics of the snow!  It's so funny to see snow on orange trees and cactus!

It was cold enough that Adam broke out his cold gloves, and look what he found!  I wrote this probably 6 years ago, maybe even before we were married!  I'm thinking it was Valentines Day 2008 and I hid hearts in all of his stuff, he found several when he went out of town for work at that time and over the next few days, but I guess it hasn't been cold enough for those gloves since then!

Scripture time!

I love that Adella now will stack her pepperoni on crackers and top with cheese!

She is so good at getting up on all fours!  She is ready to start crawling and soooo close!

Marilee wore her special Peru booties to church!  So cute!

After the cold weather, we had BEATUFUL weather.  I mean really, these kids are in short sleeves!  It was so nice!  Marilee had a DR appointment and I told the kids if they were good, we would have a picnic and play at the park.   I LOVE that Adella just picked up the whole sandwhich and started eating.  She can be terribly picky and usually just picks everything apart, so the fact that she just started eating a whole sandwich made my day!

And then, when the heck did they get so brave!

Library play on the go snack this time! We made fruit loop necklaces.

We started cooking class again.  This week was Macaroni Salad!  Charlie was not thrilled but Adella took a few bites!

We started a home project!   Here is the before:

And after!   I love it!  Can't wait to get the bookshelves in!

Cousins all helping Grandma make cookies!

I had to make comparison pics of the girls.  I didn't realize just how much they looked like me until I brought out my pics!

I mean are you for real? Adella even has my hair!

And the girls both around 9 months

And this lovely little lady hit 10 months!    She's still just the sweetest thing.  We fell so incredibly blessed to have her in our lives.   She is getting quite the personality.  She doesn't like to be abandoned while playing and will let you know that she needs someone to come back now!  She is army crawling sort of and getting very good at moving around the room to get at what she wants.   She is becoming a chatterbox, her favorite word is dadadada!   She loves to touch faces, I'm pretty certain it's her version of I love you.   She puts everything in her mouth and would love to eat lots of food if only she wouldn't throw it right back up.  She's almost also ready to sit up on her own, but I suspect it will still be a bit before she's really good at that.  She's really just pure joy and we love her to bits!
