Sunday Visitors

I love love seeing my kids dressed up!  Some of my friends sent me a care package that included stickers for my kids - um genius!  Adella was in heaven and I've found just about the only way to get her to sit still with me here is to play stickers!

Charlie discovered the mini fridge and now must have chocolate pudding and chocolate milk every time he visits.  

Week 2 at Grandma's

Charlie and Adella are getting the hang of being at Grandma's house.  

They are getting to see their cousins more

And even spending time at their cousins houses.

And they are learning to be good little orange pickers!

And this week they got to join Mommy on her first wheelchair ride!  (this has now become a favorite acitivity and we have to do it nearly evertime they come!)

My favorite visitors

It's always good when Adam can bring the kids to visit.  He keeps them on the weekends which I know is a TON of work for him and he's pretty tired come Monday!  The first weekend there, they brought me yummy LaMars donuts!

Then they came and visited me Sunday after church.

I had taught Adam how to do Adella's hair to just pull at least her bangs back, but apparently he didn't quite believe me that he needed to wrap the band 4 times, so it didn't stay in well.  Since then he's gotten much better!

Charlie and Adella are sitting with the Bishops family at church and they are taking GREAT care of them!  They bring toys and snacks and keep them pretty happy!   They even sneak pictures during sacrament meeting.  Charlie is the cutest when he prays!  I love how he puts his hands together - apparently he climbed up next to Ashley all on his own when it was time for the prayer!

 

They were giving him snacks in this little train so he started just picking it up and dumping it in his mouth!

Grandma's Gardners

These two really do like to be helpful most of the time, especially if it's something new.  Grandma had them help her in her flower garden and they had a lot of fun!

Apparently they were doing a pretty good job with pulling weeds until Adella started pulling out whole flower bushes because she didn't know any better!  So they had to do a little replanting and watering!

Catching up again!

I'm pretty behind on the blog posts, I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking to try to get Charlie and Adella's baby books done as well as keeping up with our current year scrapbook pages and really kinda forgot about the blog!   I think that I left off with Birthday pics!   While it wasn't the party I had planned, we were able to still celebrate with presents and birthday cake and mini party here in the hospital with Grandma and Grandpa Button as well as Grandma and Grandpa Heck on Skype.

We actually did some presents the night before their birthday.   It was their first time visiting me in the hospital and we wanted to something to make it a little less scary (which as expected Adella was really quite nervous when she came in and saw me hooked up to cords and in a bed).   We opened gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Heck.

They got books which is always a GREAT choice for these two!

On their actual birthday Grandma made them blueberry pancakes, which is always a favorite!

Then for lunch they got pizza at Costco.   

Then they came to visit us in the hospital.  Their friend Nora got them an awesome Winnie The Pooh book collection.  

Charlie got some very noisy trucks from mommy and daddy

and Adella got her first Cabbage Patch doll which she ADORES!

And though it wasn't the fun party I had planned, we got to spend time together and that was the important part!

Adam took Charlie and Adella outside to help rake leaves while I worked on some stuff inside.  I looked outside just in time to grab my camera and get a picture before he dumped them!  Tell me this isn't the cutest!
