Project Life Week 25

Sunday Fun Version 6.23.13

I love it when this girl will smile for the camera!  Her smile is pretty funny these days too because she still only has the two front bottom teeth but already has the molars in the back!  Apparently the other two front teeth aren't going to come in!

And when we wear pigtails we have some fun hair afterwards

And also, we are trying to get this kid off of a pacifier.  It's not going well.   Anyone have any tricks?  We put holes in them (well more like Adam made a big gash in them) but he either doesn't notice, or in the ones where he does he screams and screams and screams until we give him a different one. 

Funny faces

Charlie and Adella find it hilarious when Daddy is outside and they are inside and he makes funny faces or throws balls at them.   They giggle and make some good faces right back at him

Getting better all the time

"Swimming" is getting better, in other words its becoming tolerable to Charlie and Adella.  There is much less whining when we get in and occasionally a few smiles.  Mostly we just get stone faces though.

I'm determined that by the end of the summer when we say "do you want to go swimming" they will actually be excited about it!

New Camera!

We got a new camera!  So super excited, I can't believe how much better it looks even indoors and with the flash!   Adam was first to test it out

I've got a lot of learning to do, but what I've already learned is that I need to clean my kids faces better and teach daddy how to snap up a onesie.

Checking deals

Just reading the morning paper and checking out the deals.  No biggie

Mini Splash Pad

In desperation I went on the hunt for a fun sprinkler for Charlie and Adella.  It's seriously so hard to stay cooped up all day in the heat and we can only afford to go shopping so many times a week!

They weren't completely sure of this thing, but they seemed to at least sort of enjoy it!

We just put in some sod a few weeks ago in the back, it's starting to look pretty good!  It was completely yellow when we put it in from being rolled up and having no sun but it's getting nice and green!  It's actually nice to go out and play in the afternoon because it's shaded so I am not dying of heat while they play in the water.

 Afterwards we did a little swinging to dry off a bit, and Adella didn't even scream!  

Project Life Catchup!

It took a little bit, but I'm all caught up! YAY!!!

So excited it's almost half way through the year and I've stayed completely caught up!  I still need to do a layout for Charlie and Adella's first birthday - just waiting on pics to do that and I'll REALLY be caught up!
