My adorable Niece Sadie Pearl just turned two and what better way to celebrate than with a new dress!

I chose not to do the Apron overlay, and instead added a bow to the back, cause really what little girl doesn't need another bow in her life!
This was my first time using elastic thread, and now we are friends and will team up more often!
And here is the Pearl in her new dress!
The pictures aren't great because I couldn't get her to stand still once she got it on!
Yep, that face makes it all worth it!

LOVE IT!! I've been trying to get brave enough to try the shirring, but not yet... maybe nest spring or summer? for some reason it seems like a summer thing to me.
