36 weeks! (A little late)

Here is my 36 week picture; I posted on facebook, but forgot to put it on the blog.  Today I am officially 38!  Woohoo!!  We are scheduled to go in late Sunday night and hope to deliver Monday (that's when our Dr is on call).  Ultimately we still hope these babies might decide to come on their own before then!

A major award!

Hehe!  I won another blog contest!  I couldn't believe I actually won this one because there were close to 700 entries!  I received a huge, heavy box stuffed full of beautiful fabrics and patterns from Joel Dewberry (same designer I used for my duvet cover a couple years ago) given away by Sew4Home.   Here is the post about my winnings!

And in case you don't want to actually read about it, here is a picture of the sampling I won!  29 yards of cotton fabric, 12 yards of laminated cotton and 5 patterns!!!   LOVE IT!!!

31 Weeks!

OK, this picture was taken actually at about 30 1/2 weeks, but I am now 31 weeks.

Adam made me stand in front of the cactus, I think to prove how big I was.  Yes I am wider than a cactus!  

I went to the DR yesterday and I measure like I am 38 weeks if I was only having just one baby.  I am not sure what they do in a few weeks, will they really say I am measuring like I am 45 weeks?  HAHA. A week ago the babies weighed 3 lbs 6 oz and 3 lbs even (they are measuring right on track for weight).  So by now I am sure I have close to 7 lbs of baby in me!   

For those of you who might be wondering, I am not on bed rest and am still working.  The Dr keeps telling me how good I am doing, so she won't right me a get out of work note!    We are praying these babies stay put for another 5-6 weeks.   If they haven't come on their own by around 38, they'll induce me.   I try not to think of the fact that by then, I'll have around 15 lbs of baby in me!  YIKES!

I also randomly decided to change the hair up a bit a few weeks ago.   I guess that happens when you can no longer control your body, you take to things you can control.  So for the first time in 20 years I got bangs!  So far I am liking them all right most people seem to like them.  Its a little bit of a change, but change is fun sometimes!!

We're so excited for Elder and Sister Button to be coming home from their 18 month mission to Puerto Rico.  We were sad we didn't get to go visit them with the rest of the family, but hope that they will take us there someday to show us all the beautiful spots in those islands.    

We are very excited they will be here in time for our babies to be born, especially since they also had twins and will be used to the chaos they present.
