Baby legs!

Taken at 11 days old

For the first couple weeks we mostly kept the twins swaddled all the time.  Since they were swaddled so well, we just kept them in the crossover shirts because it made changing them so easy.  But it did pose a problem when we wanted to let them stretch out and "play".   Welcome babylegs!   I love these things and I laughed so hard when we put them on!  Look at Charlie's legs! He couldn't keep them on!  Adella didn't have much more, but it was enough for them to stay on.    I'm also generally not a fan of shots of babies in diapers, but just check out how big Charlie's diaper is on him. Hahaha.  He is  so long and lean!

1st trip to the doctor

Two days after we got home from the hospital we packed up the twins and headed to the Doctor for their first checkup!  Everything went well and the Doctor said they were perfect - as if we didn't already know that!   We really like our doctor, he actually has twins himself (we didn't know that when we picked him) so he knows exactly what we are going through!

It's a twin thing

Picture taken at 5 days old

I'm not exactly sure the point of this picture, but I think Adam was trying to prove he could take pictures as good as the hospital photographer (who was actually pretty good, but expensive to buy the images).   I think he very much proved that bad lighting and a point and shoot can't compare to good lighting and a sweet camera.  However, he did get a pretty cute shot of proof that twins really do think alike.  I swear we did not pose their hands to be in their mouths!!

More 1st day pictures!

Aunt Rachel took some pictures of the babies in the hospital, and they turned out great!  Much better than the ones with our camera, so I decided to post them as well - even though its 4 weeks late (and since this blog is as much for me as for anyone else!)

Catching up!

I have some serious catching up to do!    To start with, here are our 2011 Family pictures - obviously pre-baby birth!

Adam's sister Rachel took the pictures of Adam and I alone - she did a great job!  Here is a link to her website if you are interested in pictures yourself!  http://www.rachelreidheadphotography.com/

And here is the whole Button family!  Don't we look good!
