Grandma and Grandpa Heck

Adella and Charlie are my parents first grand kids and they couldn't be happier!  My dad was especially excited to have a boy in the family.   My parents were able to visit right after we brought the twins home from the hospital.  They could only stay for a few days, but there was plenty of cuddling going on!

For the first couple weeks we mostly kept the twins swaddled all the time.  Since they were swaddled so well, we just kept them in the crossover shirts because it made changing them so easy.  But it did pose a problem when we wanted to let them stretch out and "play".   Welcome babylegs!   I love these things and I laughed so hard when we put them on!  Look at Charlie's legs! He couldn't keep them on!  Adella didn't have much more, but it was enough for them to stay on.    I'm also generally not a fan of shots of babies in diapers, but just check out how big Charlie's diaper is on him. Hahaha.  He is  so long and lean!
