Fourth of July!
I just realized I didn't post the babies 4th of July pictures. It was a pretty low key 4th, Adam had the day off so we decided to go to lunch - and take the babies! I know adventurous right? We figured going to lunch on a weekday would be the best option as there are fewer people and you don't have to wait for a table. I am proud to say we all survived and I don't think we upset any of the other guests! We went to Brazillion Bull which is one of those all you can eat Brazillion steak houses. We like going for lunch because it's about half the price. They only serve 6 meats so you aren't super overwhelmed. Plus they were having a special to buy one get one free! So our meal was less than $30 with tip! Not too bad for some awesome steak and other meats! We didn't get to watch fireworks. That was sad because its the second year in a row we missed out (last year I was on bed rest over the fourth). But I know in a few years we will get to enjoy it with Charlie and Adella and that will be even more fun!

I think I'll go for a walk outside now
It was soooo nice outside this morning when I went for my run, I just had to take the babies out for a walk! Partly cloudy sky's with temperature in the 80's?? Heck yes!
I stopped about halfway through to see if these guys were even awake because they were soooo quiet!
Yep! They were loving it! I miss the days when I would take them on walk all the time (especially when they got grumpy). Now its just too dang hot for them! So we will just enjoy days like today until the fall comes when we can go out regularly again.
This was the scene by the time we got home. Zonked out! LOVE IT!

5 months!
Charlie and Adella hit 5 months last week! I almost forgot to take a picture and then saw the date on the computer and rushed to do it while they were in an OK mood. Since it was nearly 5:00 I knew my chances of getting decent pictures were slim! But we ended up with a few OK ones I think!

We didn't have a doctor appointment, so no new stat's on the babies, so I'll just tell you what they are up to these days.
Charlie still makes us laugh ALL the time. He has the BEST grin (only he won't do it on camera obviously!). All the young women at church adore him because he is so stinking cute! He has amazing concentration. He will hold a toy, or pacifier, or anything and try he hardest to get it in his mouth or wherever he wants it to go. He love's it when I sing to him, especially Old McDonald. He has now eaten rice cereal, carrots and bananas and is getting the hang of it pretty good. Some nights are better than others, but I think he likes it! We started swaddling him again to try to keep him from rolling over at night - its a bit more of a challenge when your arms are pend to your side. Most of the time by morning he has escaped the wrap (it's even one of those velcro ones), he's our little Houdini! He still hasn't mastered rolling from front to back, but has done it a few times. He seems to be more interested in trying to crawl. He is mostly easy going (at least more than his sister) and we have so much fun with him.
Don't let that adorable grin fool you, this one is a firecracker! She is a bit more demanding than Charlie but also can be just a sweetheart. She is a great model for the camera and also smiles a lot in general (except when she is in one of her moods). She also loves it when I sing to her. She has developed what I call a fake laugh. She will do a little cackle just so you will laugh back. It's pretty funny, Adam didn't understand why I said she had developed a fake laugh, but I think after hearing her a few times this weekend he gets it. She certainly cracks us up! She loves to roll all around and can get to just about anywhere in some way or another. She LOVES to eat! She has also had rice cereal, carrots and bananas. She gets very impatient when you are feeding her and don't get that spoon up to her mouth fast enough. She adores her daddy and we adore her!
