Project Life: Dominican Republic Book!

I've been slacking on my blog posts for a few days because I've been working like crazy to finish our trip book while Shutterfly had a great sale going on!  I'm super stoked about the outcome, I didn't stress too much over most of the pages because I just wanted it to be done while the memories are fresh (and while there was a deal going on!)

So here it is!  It's pretty much everything I've already blogged about, but wrapped up in a cute form!  I used the Honey Edition and I really really loved it!   In case you haven't caught on, I LOVE Project Life!

I'm so excited that this book is ordered and on the way!

Old Navy Style Council #3

Right after we got home from the DR, I had to rush to Old Navy to use my Crowdtap Style Council certificates!

I took my friend Laurel this time and we both got an activewear top and bottom.  I was in need of some workout capri's so this was perfect timing!  And I can always use comfy workout tops!   I love the length on the capris, they are perfect!  And the top is nice and lightweight which is obviously a necessity for summer!

Laurel got the same top but in grey and different capri bottoms.

Dominican Republic! - Final Randomness

I'm just gonna throw all the other random pictures into this final posts!  Phew, there were a lot of pictures to go through!

We spent a lot of time driving around and Charlie and Adella were mostly good troupers.  They took lots of naps and we bribed them with LOTS of snacks!

Sporting their hats!
Best 50 pesos spent one day was on these maracas!

Notice how Charlie is always eating?  Hehe, he was either eating, screaming or doing this
We play hard

Daddy/Daughter pose!
These were our happy little munchkins ready to play with Grandma while Mommy and Daddy go to the temple!
One night Charlie decided he didn't want to put his pj's on all the way so he had 4 legs
Grandma glossing up Adella's lips!
Coloring with Grandma on the morning before we left
And finally on our way home!
We had a BLAST!  And loved our first BIG family vacation so much! (Although we both vowed that we would not be flying again for a VERY long time!)
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa, I mean Elder and Sister Button, for showing us such a great time!   We miss you already and can't wait till you come home!

Dominican Republic! - Walking in the Park

Across from the Temple there is a lovely little (OK it's actually BIG) park.  It used to be a zoo but they are in the process of transforming into more of a multi use park.

The redid all the pathways and they are soooo nice!  Tons and tons of people come out to run, walk, stroll, ride bikes, etc.   It's so awesome!  I'm seriously jealous of this park and want one in my neighborhood!

In the middle of the park there is a little bridge and there are iguana's living down below.
But this was my favorite part of the park!
They have all these exercise machines!  SOOOO COOL!
They even teach classes in the evenings which Adam's mom thought were free!  Seriously cool!

You can see the top of the temple peeking through!

The trees are awesome and they are really fixing everything up so it's so green and pretty.  There are very nice picnic areas too.  They are also working on a nice playground area for kids.  How awesome would it be to come as a family and be able to workout and play!  The park has security guards at the entrances too and we felt super safe walking around!
Seriously, don't you want this park in your neighborhood?????
