Just keep swinging

Now that Adella likes the swing we are spending more time outside.  Even though it's hot, it's still a good change after being cooped up inside all day.  It's usually just the right thing to get them calmed down before daddy comes home.   As you can see from some of the pictures, sometimes it gets them a little too calm!  I'm certain they will fall asleep swinging one of these evenings!

Sunday Fun Version 7.28.13 - Happy Birthday Adam!

We celebrated Adam's birthday with the family on Sunday.  It was great to have everyone over!  It was the first time in several months that all of the AZ siblings were all together.   We had some great BBQ and cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.

Maryn's birthday was coming up so we also sang to her!

 Charlie had already had his own ice cream cone, but was convinced his cousins needed to share with him.   He lucked out and they did!

 Adella was pretty thirsty after a little photo shoot outside and was quite dramatic with her water drinking.

We back the Dbacks

For Adam's birthday we went to a Dbacks game!   Unfortunately they did horribly the night we went so we didn't stay long.   It's really nice though how they try to have fun things to do for all ages.

 I'm taking a little photography class right now, and this was my attempt at panning.  Not the best, but it's getting better!

 Charlie LOVED the actual game!  He would clap and yell every time the crowd did.  He even recognized the sound of the ball hitting the bat and would start clapping - regardless of which team hit it!

Park!

I actually got the guts up one day to take Charlie and Adella to the park.  Alone. By myself.  That probably doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but I have been so terrified of doing it!  I was sure Charlie would run off and Adella would climb up something and fall off or both!   But the weather was so super gorgeous one morning that I just had to chance it!  There were no other kids playing so I was able to completely focus on them and we all survived!

 And this girl even likes the park swings now!!!

Changes

Someone has decided she likes the swing. A lot.   No longer are tears shed when she gets put in the swing, though often tears are shed when she is taken out of the swing!

And Charlie is still a fan too!
