Bookworms

I love watching these kids 'read' and I love seeing all the places they find to do it!

This picture is blurry, but I love it!  I was trying to sneak in and grab the pic quick before he saw me and I must have moved too fast.   Both kids loved books, but Charlie seems to have an extra interest in them.  We definitely need to invest in more though because I think he's already getting bored!  I try to get him to pick one and he always shakes his head no!   And we aren't quite ready to take care of library books yet.

I try to contain their nicer books to their room, but sometimes they escape with them.

This is Halloween Part 2

Since we didn't get the best pictures at the trunk or treat we took the kids to the park to try for another round!  They were super happy running around and we got better results!   Of course every time they would actally look at us was when the strollers were in the background, we couldn't seem to catch them going the other way!  Oh well!

This is Halloween: Part 1

These are pics from the Ward Trunk or Treat.  Someone please tell my kids to stop being so cute!

Our little butterfly!

And our bug catcher!

Their friend Nora was also a butterfly so they made quite a trio (and WON the costume contest!)

OK, seriously how adorable is he?  I could not stop laughing at this kid all night.  So funny.  Lots of people thought he was supposed to be a scout, especially when he was without his net.   And mostly all night he ran around pointing at things.

I loved watching Adella run around with these little wings on!  I wish I would have taken a video!

We had a hard time getting good pictures because they were very on the go that night.  So we took them out another day - more pics to come!

AZ State Fair

I was really excited to take Charlie and Adella to the fair, Adam didn't necessarily share my enthusiasm but I just knew they would love it!   While they did enjoy looking at the animals, I was disappointed in the selection of animals to see.  I guess I'm more used to small county fairs that only go on a few days so all the animals are there the whole time.   So while we did see some cows, goats, sheep and pigs, the only small animals were pigeons!  I was so hoping to show them some bunnies and chickens, but there were none! Sad!

But actually what they liked best were the animatronic animals in the ice age exhibit.  They LOVED these life size animals that moved just a bit.   We walked around at least twice and they loved seeing them, pointing at them and then waving bye bye as soon as we moved to the next one.
