January 1-11 2015!

Welcome to 2015!   I'm not making any major changes to my blog plan, it's probably going to go about like it was - a weekly post, hopefully mostly staying on top of it, but I will get behind I know at some points!

I already shared part of our New Years when we were in Tuscon, but I didn't show these pics of the snow!  It's so funny to see snow on orange trees and cactus!

It was cold enough that Adam broke out his cold gloves, and look what he found!  I wrote this probably 6 years ago, maybe even before we were married!  I'm thinking it was Valentines Day 2008 and I hid hearts in all of his stuff, he found several when he went out of town for work at that time and over the next few days, but I guess it hasn't been cold enough for those gloves since then!

Scripture time!

I love that Adella now will stack her pepperoni on crackers and top with cheese!

She is so good at getting up on all fours!  She is ready to start crawling and soooo close!

Marilee wore her special Peru booties to church!  So cute!

After the cold weather, we had BEATUFUL weather.  I mean really, these kids are in short sleeves!  It was so nice!  Marilee had a DR appointment and I told the kids if they were good, we would have a picnic and play at the park.   I LOVE that Adella just picked up the whole sandwhich and started eating.  She can be terribly picky and usually just picks everything apart, so the fact that she just started eating a whole sandwich made my day!

And then, when the heck did they get so brave!

Library play on the go snack this time! We made fruit loop necklaces.

We started cooking class again.  This week was Macaroni Salad!  Charlie was not thrilled but Adella took a few bites!

We started a home project!   Here is the before:

And after!   I love it!  Can't wait to get the bookshelves in!

Cousins all helping Grandma make cookies!

I had to make comparison pics of the girls.  I didn't realize just how much they looked like me until I brought out my pics!

I mean are you for real? Adella even has my hair!

And the girls both around 9 months

And this lovely little lady hit 10 months!    She's still just the sweetest thing.  We fell so incredibly blessed to have her in our lives.   She is getting quite the personality.  She doesn't like to be abandoned while playing and will let you know that she needs someone to come back now!  She is army crawling sort of and getting very good at moving around the room to get at what she wants.   She is becoming a chatterbox, her favorite word is dadadada!   She loves to touch faces, I'm pretty certain it's her version of I love you.   She puts everything in her mouth and would love to eat lots of food if only she wouldn't throw it right back up.  She's almost also ready to sit up on her own, but I suspect it will still be a bit before she's really good at that.  She's really just pure joy and we love her to bits!

Button Family Reunion- Tuscon AZ December 29-January 1

Our Button Reunion started on Monday night at Carrabas!  It was yummy!  Charlie tried calamari and liked it!  He had several pieces!
Marilee had fun playing with Roger's toys

Waiting to go into Old Tuscon!

The rides were perfect for these kids!  They loved riding on the train!

Charlie and Owen with the Cowboys!

Watching the shootout!

Climbing up in an old train!

Riding the Carousal!  I think Charlie would have ridden this all day if we let him!

Driving with daddy!  This was Adella's favorite next to the train!

Playing games with cousins!

I didn't do the greatest job of pictures this time.  But here's me with my favorite gals on New Years!

Charlie loved the sparklers, Adella was too scared to try, but Charlie wanted more more!

Adella ended up getting pretty sick that night- she had a few too many treats I think.  So we were up pretty late- they almost made it to midnight! But since they were up late they got to see it snow!  So crazy, but yep it snowed!

It was cold, but they thought it was pretty cool!

The next morning they had fun watching the parade and seeing their favorite Disney characters!

And Adella just had to go build a snowman!

She didn't mind at all that it was freezing, she just needed a snowball!

After she got some fun dance lessons from Sadie!

We had a lot of fun on our trip and our kids are excited to go back to a hotel again soon!
