April 275th -May 3

We talked about the ocean this week and I let the kids 'fish' for their snack!  We put pb on straws and stuck them in a bowl of goldfish crackers.

I finally got my photo shelf all decorate!  I lOVE it!

April 20-26

Marilee started crawling with both arms extended rather than just one!   She's lightening fast now!

Charlie wanted oranges.

They insisted on pictures on the crocodile and turtle.

I made Adella a new nightgown.  She couldn't be more excited!  She LOVES nightgowns!

April 13-19

It's safe to say this was a fun week for the kids!   Early in the week we met up with some of our cousins at Mesa Riverview park- it was our first visit!  It was so much fun!

Adella has started to really overcome some of her fears, including social anxiety.  I get so nervous when I take them to parks that I know will be busy because generally she won't even play.   But she is getting so much better!   And look at hear leading her cousins up that hill!   She was so proud to get to the top!

 She even climbed up the rock climbing wall (with some help from Aunt Julie)

At first they wanted nothing to do with the splash pad, but once the cousins were there and we brought out the sand toys that all changed!

There is a super cool zip line and Charlie loved it!

In between all our fun, we dealt with the sickies off and on.  It was so strange.  They would be totally fine then throw up, and then totally fine again!  Adella would be good for 2 days and then throw up again.  It lasted about a week and was just the weirdest thing.  It didn't' really affect her appetite or stamina.  One night I went to check on her though and she just looked so cute, I couldn't resist using the flash on her!

At the end of the week we went to story time at the Childrens museum with Nora and some other friends.  So so fun!  We got there early so we had lots of the place to ourselves and were among the first in the 'store' which was a favorite!  Adella even climbed the treehouse this time (though the 2nd time ended in tears as she couldn't figure out how to get down)

We bought these water floaty things and they insisted we were going swimming.  Well we did, but it was SUPER cold!

I took Marilee to the store by herself so she got to ride in the top of the cart for the first time!  She loved it and just kept looking around at everything!

We finally wore our Easter dresses, after Easter being on Conference Sunday and then having stayed home due to the Charlie being sick the next Sunday!  

And Grandma and Grandpa Button came over for dinner and of course we had to finish the night with the tickle monster book!  It seems to be a book reserved for especially when Grandma and Grandpa come over.
