Adella has just recently discovered her thumb. Adam and I both caught her once on Sunday with her thumb in her mouth, but she hasn't been able to keep it there long. The last couple of days I've gotten a kick out of watching her try to get it in there. I must say the girl is persistent!!

Happy Easter!
Here are our attempts at good pictures. Have you ever tried to take pictures of two, two month olds! Goodness its so hard! They were not happy about it not to mention they kept spitting up all over their beautiful Sunday Clothes!! Well, anyway, we tried!
I love love love this little outfit! The tie is the real kicker! What a stud!
And the fun of trying to get a decent picture of them together. Nightmare!! I am including all these because I think they are just hilarious to see how upset they were with their photoshoot!
I'm fairly certain Adella will hate me for this picture one day!

Nursery!
I was so excited to work on the Nursery for the twins! It took a lot of convincing to get Adam to agree to paint the walls - he thought the tan color they were was perfectly acceptable and didn't want to mess up the color with something crazy that would make it hard to sell one day. Well, all I wanted was gray so I couldn't see how he could get too upset about that and I finally convinced him!
I did gray because I wanted all the decorations to be bright and colorful and pop against the gray walls. I was able to complete, MOST of the nursery before the babies came and just had a few things left after. Take a look!

The Curtains were a steal from Bed Bath and Beyond! Only $7.99 a panel! I even bought an extra and used it to make the bed skirts - which made for an easy project because I didn't have to do any hemming!
My MIL made the Yarn balls, which by the way is not as easy as the Pinterest tutorial makes it seem! Only about half of them were fit to hang!
With the help of my MIL and SIL, we made the sheets! Did you know crib sheets are super duper easy to make!! We whipped out five or so in a couple hours along with a whole stack of burp cloths!
I crocheted these blankets and finished the week the babies were born!
This banner was from my baby shower, a definite keeper!
These growth charts were from Paper Coterie, they had a free coupon so I just paid shipping! Love them!
I used my cricut to cut the vinyl letters for this poster that I picked up on Amazon for 1 cent! Gotta love when shipping is more than the actual item!
I also added the vinyl letters for this mirror
The rocking frog was a shower gift - I LOVE it! Doesn't it match perfectly in the room! Oh and the rug I found at Target, also a perfect match!
I made this poster art myself as well and printed at Costco
These name signs are fabric letters cut from my Silhouette with iron on interfacing. The background fabric is stapled to a canvas.
I still have a few things I want to do, but for the most part its done and I love it!

2 months!
Charlie and Adella hit 2 months yesterday! I was a little more successful with my photo shoot this time, even capturing a few smiles. Be warned, there are a lot of pictures! I had a hard time picking out just a few favorites. I just love all their different facial expressions. For their two month celebration they got to go to the doctor, that's why you can see the bandaids. The doctor proclaimed them to be perfect just like always! He was very shocked when I told him they are only waking up once a night to eat. He himself has twins and didn't think it was very fair that they are already doing that for us (its been over a week of them doing this so we fell very lucky!). Most nights we put them down around 8-8:30 and they might wake up around midnight, but a pacifier is usually all they need to go back to sleep. They will then sleep until about 4 and want to eat. After that they will sleep until 7-8 generally. The doctor said well that won't happen tonight because of their shots. He told us to give them tylenol every 4-6 hours for the next 24 hours. We gave them one dose (not even as much as he said too) because they were very unhappy before there last feeding. Well, they fell right to sleep and didn't wake up AT ALL until 4:00. They ate and went back to sleep until 8!!! Not once did they wake up in between their feedings! We feel pretty lucky! As tempting as it might be, we promise we won't be giving them tylenol every night!
So besides sleeping well here is what else they are up to at 2 months.

If you were paying attention to their weights, you noticed that Charlie has almost caught up to Adella! I'm pretty sure Adella is carrying the extra 3 oz in her cheeks!!
They are the same length
And Charlie's head is slightly larger.
I tried super hard to get both of them to smile at the same time - but that's pretty impossible!
We just love these two!!
