Sunday Fun Version 8.19.12 - Also known as we've got trouble

The next posts are a little out of order, but I wanted to get this one up right away because we got a few good videos yesterday.  


So here's Charlie.  These kids have been 'crawling' around for  a few weeks, but mostly it's been army crawling.  Charlie has taken a couple 'steps' at a time on his hands and knees but then gets stuck.  Well, yesterday he went nuts, we were skyping with my parents and put the laptop on the floor so they could see him crawl, and well he really did crawl!  Like SUPER fast even.

And then there is this girl

Yeah, she figured out how to get up the ledge.   I don't know if she can get further than this yet as she hasn't tried.  And I don't think she is really interested in getting up there unless there is something that she want's and its within reach.  I use to be able to leave my shoes up there, but I guess I can't even do that anymore!   And just in case you are reading this in reader and don't want to look at the videos, here are a couple of Sunday pics!   I just got Adella because Charlie was sleeping - whoops!

Oh those eyes!

I just can't get enough of these eyes!   We've made it past 6 months, so are we safe to say yet that this color will stay????

Around the room

I decided one day to capture the movement of these two over just the space of 20 minutes or so.   Really, what I think is funny is how they are starting to follow each other around.   Often I will walk out of the room and come back to find both of them in a completely different spot than when I left, or together when they were apart when I left.

And here are a few other pictures from the same day, these crack me up because Charlie is all over Adella, and she didn't mind at all.  Most of the time she is fine with it until Charlie kicks her in the face and then its all over.   It's so fun watching these two start to play together!

Sippy cups!

We are working on learning how to use a sippy cup around here.  It's pretty funny.  Charlie could care less and really hasn't attempted to do much with it, but Adella is actually starting to figure out how to hold it right and tilt her head back.  However, all she wants to do is chew on the spout rather than suck on it, so she isn't getting much out yet!  Charlie will bring it to his mouth but also just chews on it.   I'm not really pushing it, I just set in on their trays for them to play around with while I get their food ready.  I figure when they are ready to use it they will!

It's so fluffy!

I seriously can't get over ruffle bums.   Why oh why do they have to make diaper covers so dang stinking cute!!!

It's a good thing this girl's doing a lot of crawling around so I get to look at that cute bum all day!
