Marilee's Blessing

We blessed Marilee on Sunday June 6th.   I worked all the way up till midnight the night before finishing her dress!  

She was just as sweet as can be and didn't cry at all!

Four Generations of Handsom Button men!

Grandma and Grandpa Button along with Great Grandma and Grandpa Button came to the blessing.  Marilee was a little tired of pictures at this point!  (apparently so was Adella who was flashing her famous sad face)

Charlie and Adella have gotten much better at smiling at the camera!  They love to say CHEESE!!

I should also add that Marilee hit 4 months this on July 3rd!  She weighed in at 9 lbs 10 oz and was 21 1/2 in long.   This month she has turned into a completely happy sweet baby!  Amazing what happens when your re-flux is under control!  She no longer screams everytime we put her in the car seat and doesn't cry when we are out driving either.   She is smiling a lot and loves when we talk, sing and open our mouths real big for her.   She is starting to no longer want to be swaddled and would prefer her arms out most of the time. 

June 30-July 6

I got to hang out with my niece Mykenna while everyone else went swimming.   

Charlie and Adella worked up a serious appetite after swimming!

This little thing is just too sweet sometimes!

Charlie claimed this is a basketball hoop.  It's so fun to seem them really start to use their imaginations!

See SOMETIMES she is willing to drink.  But rarely ever, and usually not much.  We're still working through some ideas to try to help her, but right now she is pretty much 100% tube fed.

ONe night she was a super grump and didn't want to fall asleep.  No matter if she was held, in the swing or anywhere she wasn't happy.  Until we put her in Adam's side of the bed. She was out in seconds!

Fireworks weren't quite as scary this year, but they still weren't huge fans!  They did like the poppers though!

It was really fun watching Adella stomp on them!  She would really rare up and let them have it!

Adella was alittle braver and held a sparkler by herself.

This cracked me up because of the way she has her legs slung to the side.

Reminded me of someone else!!

June 23-29

Charlie and Adella continue to share their toys and blankets with Marilee.  

Nora came to play with us a few times.  Blocks were very popular!

And of course snacks too. Nora has lots of fun drinking out of every single cup.

Playing in the tunnel was a BIG hit!

This girl has really turned on the smiles!  She was having a GREAT time in the bath!

Blanket forts are great, but they think its more fun to tear them down.  Luckily it still entertained them for a long time!

I made up this little color matching game, I 'hid' pom poms around the room and they collected and put them on the corresponding piece of felt.  Adella loved it but Charlie lost interest after a few mintues.  He eventually became a menace and tore the whole thing apart ruining all Adella's hard work!

And these two sillies have learned to 'say cheese'!  Oh and Charlie let Adella pick out his tie!  I know crazy!

Marilee's Newborn Photos!

My Sister-in-law Rachel of http://www.rachelreidheadphotography.com/ took pictures of Marilee after she got out of the hospital, so not exactly a newborn, but she was the same size as one and still looked like one!   They are amazing!  And she even managed to capture all 3 kids smiling at the same time (OK, maybe Marilee isn't exactly smiling, but it does kinda look like it!)  I don't really need.
