Adella decided enough was enough and rolled from front to back! She had gotten close several times over the last few days, but it didn't look like she was really trying, more like she was just trying to turn her body to see things (she's always contorting her neck to get different views). This morning though it actually looked like she was trying. She would get super close and then all the momentum would push her back onto her back. Well, I left the room and of course came back to this! Why is it they always do it the first time when you aren't looking? She hasn't done it again yet, but so excited she knows how! Now if we can just get Charlie to learn to go from front to back we will be all set! He's still a mega pro at going from back to front.

And in other news
Latest stats!
Yep, Charlie officially passed Adella in weight and height! My question is, are those percents really the percentile they are in? I mean really? I don't think they are THAT small are they? The good news is that they have doubled their birth weight! (Well Adella is a couple ounces short, but close enough!). Our doctor said we could start them on solids, so we gave it a shot. Um, you can see how well THAT went!

Work with me!
So I think I have these kids trained too good. They always look at the camera when I get it out, especially when I DON'T want them to! They have actually started to play with some of their toys, Charlie especially will reach out and grab things. One of the best ones are these fun little balls my friend Alix gave them. They have holes all through them and they are kinda squishy and also nice and light. However there is one problem, they won't go in their mouths and it makes them seriously mad! I wanted to get a picture of just how upset it makes them, especially Charlie, but of course they just put the ball aside and stare at the camera, I'm gonna have to try to get it on video I guess! (Warning, picture overload!)
You can kinda see Charlie's frustration in this one
I tried a different angle so they couldn't see the camera, but you can't see their faces well, but they are seriously trying to jam those suckers in their mouth!
Buddies!!!

Eyes
Please ignore Adella's drool, it happens, all the time. That's life, I'm over it, or more appropriately its all over me. But that's not really the point, the point is check out those eyes! You might need to click n the picture to blow it up, but you can really tell the color difference in this picture! Oh how we hope that Charlie's eyes stay blue/grey!! My original point of taking this picture was to show how cute these two are when they do tummy time facing each other, but of course, when the camera is out they look at it instead. But that's OK this time because I got this beautiful eye shot!!

A Whole New World!
A new fantastic point of view
These two were hilarious when I took them outside this morning. (pretty please disregard the mess in the background!!) We just got these chairs last week, and sometimes they like them and others not so much. Charlie almost always throws a fit after a few minutes. But I needed to hang up the diapers and he was throwing a fit anyway so I figured I'd try to take them outside in the chairs and see what happened. LOVE! They looked and looked around. Every so often I would look over and they would be staring at each other grinning and babbling. It was hilarious! And yes Adella is still a ham for the Camera. Such a silly girl!
