Crazy visitors
Last week we had some fun visitors! Ann and Fonree brought their kids over to play and swim. Well, we were pretty sure they wouldn't swim but we cleaned the pool anyway. But wouldn't you know despite the fact that it was maybe 80 degrees (that's pretty darn cool in AZ) they still got in! And not only that, they got in TWICE! Before and after lunch. Crazy, crazy kids!
Sunday Fun Version 10-7-12
First off excuse the lack of clothes on these babies! These were the only Sunday pictures we got that day - being conference weekend we didn't get 'dressed up' to go to church and were too busy relaxing and enjoying family to get any great pictures! But after the fact I am really glad we got these pictures.
I've mentioned before that these two can be so silly at night, but they were extra crazy this night. They kept standing up and laughing hysterically at each other. I don't know if it's that they are standing facing each other or what, but whatever it is they think it's hilarious. Our usual bedtime routine is to get them fed, changed, PJ's on, read some scriptures, pray, give kisses and then sing some songs to help calm them down. Well this night they just wanted to laugh. Even after the lights went out all they would do was laugh. I finally gave up singing after a few minutes and left the room. And a MIRACLE occurred they fell asleep. ON THEIR OWN! Not one scream, not one fuss, no losing of the pacifier. Nothing. Lots of laughs and then dead asleep. It was so strange (and has not happened again sadly). But for that night it was awesome and perfect! I love that they have so much fun together and can make each other laugh. It really is the best sound in the world!

We are all OK
Apparently the lack of posts for a whole week has caused some concern. Rest assured we are fine (well as fine as one can be when a certain baby refuses to nap AT ALL and when she does FINALLY give in it's not at the same time as her brother). Posts will resume when I have more than two minutes to sit at a computer and download pictures.

Growing growing growing
(Lucky for you, I found a post that was in draft and never got published! It was supposed to go out last week, so to satisfy those who need a Charlie and Adella fix here you go!!)
Charlie has grown a TON in the last couple of weeks. It's so crazy! I think because we have both Charlie and Adella it's easier to see really how much he has grown. We haven't measured but I am sure he has a couple inches on Adella now (they've always been within 1/2 and inch of each other). His hair has gotten much longer and his feet are bigger too!
So it was time to retire his sleep sack and get into some big boy PJ's with footies and all!

We also decided Adella needed to be broken of being swaddled, so she went into the sleep sack since she isn't too tall yet. I actually did try her footie PJ's on her and her feet won't even go past the elastic in the ankle, so she's got a little bit before they will fit.
Even though Charlie is bigger now (who would have thought?) Most people still mistakenly think Adella is bigger. It's those silly cheeks!!

Waiting for Daddy
Adella is pretty smart. She knows that it's 5:30 and Daddy should be home ANY minute!
Staring that door down!
Charlie finally caught on and had to join the fun
Unfortunately this night traffic was real bad and Daddy was later than normal. Adella was pretty grumpy after waiting for about 5 minutes and gave up. It was sad - I was so looking forward to Adam coming home and finding them like this!
