Stand in the place where you live
So Charlie has been doing this whole standing thing for a few weeks now - but it's hard to get on camera because when he sees the camera he goes for it. But finally I captured it!
If you notice there is nothing around him, he can get to a standing position straight off the ground with no help!

Happy Kids!
The thing I want more than anything is happy babies! I cherish the times when they are happy, even better when they are happy at the same time!
Lately, there have been lots and lots of smiles to be had by these two!

Sunday Fun Version 10.21.12
Sunday was actually not so fun for Charlie. He didn't take his usual nap during sacrament meeting. He's really never done that before. Adella hasn't taken one in months, so that's normal, but usually we get a few minutes at least for Charlie.
Then he was SUPER crabby during the last hour. Adam said he still refused to nap and was just so cranky. When we got home I got them their lunch and I looked in his mouth, and what do I see? TEETH! The kid had a tooth that had already broke the surface and another on the way! He had been so so so good the last week, that the idea of him teething had never even occurred to me. But there it was! He didn't really want to eat much of his lunch and would drink his bottle and then get upset again after a few sips. He has had a couple of rough bouts the last few days, but overall has been extremely happy. I'll take it!
I tried and tried and tried to get a picture, but he would hardly open his mouth to let us look, let alone long enough to get a pic! Every time we tried he would just stick out his tongue!

And Adella wouldn't hold still for a good picture, so this is just about the best I could get!

NEON SPLASH DASH!
Last Saturday I ran my first post baby 5k! For me this was actually a huge deal - I couldn't run at all during my pregnancy and only in the last month have actually felt like I could run more than half a mile without being in serious pain for the rest of the day. I still hurt, but its bearable.
Up until race day the most I had run was 2 miles, so my goal was really to get to about 2.5 miles. Well, there were no mile markers and I couldn't bring my watch in for fear of it getting ruined, so I just ended up running the whole thing! WOOT!!
These girls are from my ward and it was so fun that we all got to run! We all had rough pregnancy and have miracle babies - their's more so than mine, but we all really needed a girls night and what better way than to run and glow! Woohoo for the Glow Girlz!
The race was really fun, it was at night so it was DARK! But along the way they sprayed you with neon 'paint'. I don't really know what it was made of but it washed off really quite easily, no scrubbing so not exactly paint. It was really fun to be glowing by the end! Their were lots of people that turned out for the race, which was the VERY first one that had been done. There were so many people in fact that our 'wave' of people didn't get out of the start gate till half an hour into the race. I was amazed at all the kids too, they definitely made it a family friendly event. I was also surprised by the number of people who only walked it, not that there is anything wrong with that, I was just expecting to be passed by tons and tons of people!
I think I would for sure do this one again because it was really fun, next year it's actually supposed to be in Phoenix (it was in Chandler this year) and I'm hoping it will be closer and not next to a stinky pond which was the only real drawback!
