I did it

I debated on sharing, because let's be honest no one likes to really admit they need to drop some wieght, BUT it's not like its a big secret or anything.  So I'm sharing!  I ventured back into weight watchers last week.  I've wanted to go back for a long time, I know it work and I love it but I just didn't want to pay for it really.  But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the money is sooo beyond worth it.  I tried doing it by myself and I wasn't getting very far.   I know lots of people who can do it by themselves and I so admire them - I just need a little extra help and support!  I guess it's good that I know what works for me.   So I'm excited for this new journey - I even survived this last weekend with FOUR parties and peeked at the scale Monday morning and it was GREAT news!  Woohoo for a program that fits my life!  Can't wait to see what the scale actually says tomorrow morning!

Sunday Fun Version 12.2.12

So I've been on a sewing kick lately - I discovered Adella only had TWO dresses in her current size so I of course needed to change that!   I also discovered that you get what you get when you use a tutorial and pattern off the internet - this dress pattern was on a toddler - at LEAST 2 years old.  The author said the dress was baggy so you needed the sash to make it look right.  UMMMMM... It BARELY fits Adella and she is SMALL for her age!  But it's so stinking cute so we are getting as much wear out of it as possible the next month or so!

Can't leave this guy out!

Hair Gel

What?  You don't use sweet potato as hair gel?  

It's the cool thing to do man.

10 months!

Charlie and Adella turned 10 months on November 28th.   We headed to the park for a little photo shoot - I wanted to do some editing on a few of these, however I'm not going to get to it anytime soon, so I'm just gonna get them on here straight out of the camera.

I started with Charlie, he wasn't too thrilled.  But this little lady thought it was hilarious!

At 10 months Charlie is a WALKER!  Crazy crazy!  He took his first few steps just days before 10 months (now a few weeks later he is on a roll!)   He had two teeth at 10 month (now he has two more up top that are popping through).   He is still an AWESOME sleeper and napper.  He does get rather angry after waking up from his afternoon nap but is usually better after he gets his bottle.  He is becoming a better eater, though still pickier than Adella.  He really likes carbs, like pancakes, rice, cereal puffs but also really likes Yogurt and cheese.   He is very ticklish and we love hearing him laugh!   He continues to grow like crazy, we had to take them in for shots a few days after they hit 10 months and he was up to 18 lbs 13 oz (he was 18 lbs at 9 months).

Adella at 10 months still had no teeth!  (She got one about a week later and another is about to pop through).   She still loves to eat and puts ANYTHING in her mouth (pretty sure she is chewing on grass in the picture above).  She will eat just about anything we give her, even if she acts like she doesn't like it!  It's hard to say what her favorite is because she just loves food so much!   She has become a MUCH better napper, but is still not doing so great at night.  We aren't sure if its night terrors, teething, or something else but she wakes up nearly every night - often she is just crying in her sleep but eventually it wakes her up fully and she won't get calmed down until we pick her up.   She isn't growing as fast as Charlie; she was 17 lbs 8 0z at her appointment a couple days after hitting 10 months - she was 17 lbs 2 oz at her 9 month checkup.  She eats food really well but sometimes won't drink much of her bottle.  She hasn't started walking but has a few funny new things she does.  She likes to roll her ankles when she is sitting in chairs, carseats or stroller - I think it's pretty cute!  She also has this funny knee walk thing.   She'll kneel and then move her knees instead of getting down and crawling with her hands too.  I'm not sure why she does it because she can't go far!   She never ceases to makes us laugh!

These two have started playing more and interacting more together and it's really fun to watch!   We sure are lucky!
