Rocking Bike

I wasn't too great at picture taking last week, but my friend Laurel sent me these ones of Charlie and Adella.  She had watched them for me while I went to an appointment - luckily they like her and love playing with her daughter Nora!  We're still working on overcoming extreme shyness here!

Her husband Robby made this rocking bike - but the funny store is that it was actually Adam's idea!  He just didn't realize that Robby would actually go through with it.  Robby is very into dirt biking so when they found out they had a baby on the way he set to work on this!

As you can see they were super excited to get on it - or not!  But they actually stayed on long enough for a picture, which they haven't before.

Car carts

I told this story on Instagram already, but for the grandparents I'll tell it here too.  I went out shopping last week and forgot the stroller.  Seriously tragic.  And I debated in my head whether to drive all the way home and get it or not.   We actually had to go to Joann's first and that's where we were when I realized it (it's a good 15-20 minutes away).  I decided it wasn't an option, so I did that thing your not supposed to do and I stuck Adella in the kids seat portion and Charlie in the cart part.  We survived. No one fell out and Charlie mostly sat the whole time and listened to me each time I told him to sit.

So when we were going to the store I thought, well let's give it a shot and grabbed a car cart.  There were 3 sitting out on the curb so we walked up and ALL had broken belts.  Lame.  But both of them had already climbed in and acted like they knew what they were doing steering the wheel so I ventured on.  I will NEVER do that again!   It was awful!  They were fine if I was moving, but you just try to grocery shop (with coupons) and never stop moving the cart!  Everytime I did they would stand up, turn around, try to climb out, over each other, grab things off the shelf, etc.   I was completely frustrated and exhausted when we left and bought less than 15 items.   Why oh why can't more stores have decent two seaters???   Isn't having two children pretty common?????

So yeah, here they, very cute at first!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Button

Charlie and Adella love to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Button's because they have a super fun orchard, and even chickens!  They love running around and exploring new things.

We went for a ride on Grandpa's golf cart and when we got back, Adella wasn't done exploring.  We were actually surprised that she decided to go off and explore on her own because she's one shy little girl and usually clings pretty close to mommy or daddy!
She was nice enough to stop and wait for Charlie too.

Sneak peak!

All laid out and ready to be sewn!  (Side note - SO glad I took this pic, more than once I needed to refer back to make sure I wasn't messing my order up! And the colors here aren't great, it looks like there is brown, but it's really greys, pinks, coral, orange, yellow and green!)
