Saguaro Ranch

One of the libraries we frequently visit is right next to Saguaro Ranch Park, so since the weather is cooling we headed out to the park after story time with our friend Nora (and of course her mom Laurel who was nice enough to take pictures for me!)

Trying to get all three of them in one shot did not work well! 

They found these fun stairs to climb up, we closed the gate but do you think that stopped them? 

And Charlie got a little scared when the peacock turned around towards him! 

The Smoothie King

This kid LOVES his smoothies!  For awhile we couldn't figure out why he would scream every morning at breakfast, and could not figure out what he was pointing to as there was no food or drink in the general direction.  Finally we figured out he wanted a smoothie!  He DEMANDS one every day now!  He will often choose drinking the smoothie over everything else on his tray (even sugary muffins).  No complaints here!  Little does this kid know he's drinking veggies... Hehehehe.  Oh and don't you dare try to give Adella the blue cup - that one is HIS!

Adventurers

It's no secret that Charlie and Adella LOVE to be outside, but what kid doesn't right?   I love that we have the pool fence up now and they can wander around and be silly!

This little girl loves to collect rocks!  

And then put them in a bucket.   I think she'll grow up to be just like both her grandma's who love to collect sea shells!

Obsessed

Charlie and Adella haven't really ever been big fans of TV, most of the time if I turn something on they watch for maybe five minutes and then go on playing.  However, recently they have become OBSESSED with Bubble Guppies!  They LOVE this show!  I don't know why, but seriously they love it!   Although I don't like to park them in front of the TV often, Bubble Guppies is conveniently on right around lunch time, which mean I can turn it on and actually prepare their lunch without them screaming and demanding to be held or demanding food before its ready.   A mom has to have at least one good trick up her sleeve right?   The other funny thing about the show is that Adella always crawls right up into her daddy's chair when it comes on.  She knows a thing about comfort I guess!
