May 12-18

I had some left over sweet potato, so what else would you do but make donutes!
I super love ruffly bottoms!
It's Arizona, why wouldn't you want a trampoline in the house?
Charlie weened himself off the pacifier.  Oh happiness!  I was dreading having to do that.   When he was sick he sucked it the whole day and since he was awake I think he chewed on it a bit.  He put a hole in it and it just wasn't the same!  This was the ONLY pacifier he would use, he would not use another one so when it was broke, well bye bye pacifier!

Still tube feeding this girl!
But look how adorable!  This was one of Adella's outfits but I could not find a picture of her in it!  Sad!

On her way to her first DR appointment!  She weighed 7 lb. 8 oz and was 20 in long.
I was exhausted, Adam was at the dentist so in desperation I fed them cold cereal.  Very first time!   And it was Lucky Charms to boot.  Did they love it?  Yup.

Adella was very excited to go to church, I couldn't get her to take her shades off for any of the pics!
And then Charlie here wouldn't take his hat off!
Nor would they give up their water bottles!

May 5-11

These two were cracking me up one morning.  Charlie was driving the car and kept telling Adella "get in back Del!"   (He calls her Della when he is referring to her or yelling through the house for her, but when he is just talking to her he calls her Del.  So cute!)

One afternoon I came home from a DR appointment and Charlie was so upset.  All he wanted to do was go for a ride.  I need to pick up a prescription anyway, so we went, but I didn't think that short trip would appease him enough so we stopped for JR Frosties.  But seriously, these kids wouldn't touch them?  What the heck?   They played with them for probably a good 20 minutes before they finally gave in and tried them, and then of course loved it!  Sillies.

Grandma and Grandpa took Charlie and Adella for the night before we brought Marilee home.  Adella was so excited and was all set waiting for Grandma to come get her!
They must have destroyed the living room half a dozen times that morning.  I kept cleaning up thinking they would be here soon and I was trying to get the house as clean as possible before we brought Marilee home!

And finally the day!  We patiently (or not so patiently) waited to be discharged with this precious bundle.

 Last time in her room!

 Let' go!
And HOME!   Doesn't she look cozy!
First night at home (it's night that's why lighting is off).  So sweet!

And the best was having Mother's day with all my kids together at home!

April 28 -May 4

Yep very behind again!  But for the sake of my 2 readers, I'll try to catch up!  I think I'm gonna start doing a weekly post, that's how I do my scrapbooks anyway so it makes sense.  Probably will have less writing, mostly pictures!

I'm not really sure how, but Adella pulled down her scriptures and was thoroughly 'reading' them!

She made beds for her baby dolls and then brought them breakfast.  Who doesn't love breakfast in bed!

This guy got super sick quick.  Adella had a fever Wednesday night that continued on and off for almost a week.  This guy coughed a couple times Wednesday night, but nothing too major.  But Thursday night he really started into it and by Friday morning Adam had taken him to the ER.  Poor guy.   Croup is NO fun!  He bounced back quick though.  He still remembers 'going to see the DR and watching cars'.
This cutie spent the morning with Mommy and then grandma.  It was a little lonely for her I think, but she handled it well!
Once he got home, he was allowed to eat whatever he wanted for being such a trouper.  Ice cream it was!

And this little thing was sorely missed as we had to stay away a few days to make sure and not pass the yuckiness to her.   Adella would eventually get croup as well, but nothing like Charlies.
2 months old her and weighing 6 lb 8 oz!

Meeting Marilee!

They finally lifted the RSV restriction at the hospital so Charlie and Adella got to go see Sister Marilee for the first time!  They were so giddy on the way into the hospital.  It was so cute.  Once we got in, Charlie was especially excited and cute with her.  So fun to be together!

And Grandma Button Finally got to hold her!

Grandpa Heck, Marilee is saving some special cuddles just for you!

Camera pics

Last week I got a new phone!  It takes better pics than the old one (not Iphone quality, but still better!)  It's been nice to not lug the big camera every time I go to the hospital and be able to take impromptu pics at home to.  I still intend to use my big camera as much as I can though because I love getting better at using it and the pics turn out so much better.

Anyway, here are some highlights!

This is Adella's sad chocolate face when I told her no more bananas with Nutella (the three of us had already consumed 3 and I barely got a bite in!)   Don't worry, Charlie ripped them off the counter and brought one too me.  How could I continue to say no!   4 bananas, 2 kids?  No problem!
Once again they pulled books down when they aren't supposed to (they have others they can destroy).  But they are just so happy and cute it's hard to get mad.  Plus who can really get mad at their kid for reading?
Marilee continues to be adorable.  She no longer looks at all like a premie!

4-22

Adella likes to have pretty things in her hair now!  She doesn't necessarily like me doing her hair, but she likes the bows and clips!

More chubbiness!

4-24

These two figured out how to use their bricks as stools to reach the lights.  Ugh.  I find these things all over now under just about every light switch!

Seriously, look at her and those cheeks!  And the chin!  How can one resist!

And finally skyping with Grandma and Grandpa.  Adella thought it was funny to carry bricks around and giggle.  Only she knows why!
