August 11-17

Sorry a bit behind!  

Charlie is super sweet with Marilee, we caught him laying on the floor next to her just chatting away!

I saved up toilet paper tubes and built a car ramp.   It was a success!   

This picture does not acuratly portray what is going on here.  Adella, Charlie and Nora are right there in front listening to the story during story time.   But miss Nora had just reached up and put her arm randomly around Charlie.  Didn't phase either a bit... then she started playing with his hair.  Laurel and I were cracking up! 

Official!  I got my Jamberry starter kit!   I had so much fun finally being able to prep and put everything together!

We had some AWESOME rain and Charlie and Adella had fun watching!

We started trying to give Marilee some food occassinally, she is not so adverse that she won't put stuff in her mouth, in fact she's grown rather into trying to suck her hands or stick other stuff in, but she won't suck a bottle still and gags if any milk goes down.  Not sure if she actually swallowed the apple sauce or if she just let it dissolve on down.

August 4-10

Kids club was a little crazy this week, it was pretty much all singing and dancing - LOUDLY!  But I was so proud of these two that got up and joined in the Ant's go marching, all the way around the audience!  Charlie looks unhappy, but I think he had fun :) 

We talked about scriptures for FHE and even learned the song Scripture Power!  They loved it!  Charlie of course had to go looking for 'the big fish' in the scriptures.  Daddy had to help him, but he found it! 

Marilee didn't sleep much for a few days, and I was worried naps were a thing of the past!  But this day I could not keep her awake! 

We had a $25 gift card to a Chinese restaurant that we finally redeemed.  First time taking all 3 kids out I think!  Our kids are pretty well behaved though and had fun!  The food was actually really good too!

I pulled out the splash pad.  They enjoyed it a bit more than last year, though it still was not the 'hit' I was hoping for!  The funny thing is, they are wearing the exact same suits as last year too, and Charlie's shorts are still too big!

This girl keeps us sooo happy!  I mean really, we've never seen a happier baby!  She loves to smile at us and she just lights up our day!

We've been playing a lot with Nora lately, we even went shopping together, Nora was teasing Charlie and he was being a pretty good sport about it!   Future romance????

July 28-August 3

Adella joined in on the Kids Club Stage Again!

And a fort, which was all fun till he forgot to have them help clean it up and ended up having to do it all by himself!

We started at Chick-fil-a

It took her forever to eat, even though she knew once she was done she could play!

This was really the first time playing in a play place in a restaurant.  She had a lot of fun, but was still a little timid.

She took A LONG time to find and figure out the slide.  But once she did she loved it!

After that we went and got frozen yogurt!  That was for sure the highlight!  She talked about going to get ice cream for days as we had mentioned that Charlie was going to a baseball game with daddy and she was going out with me!

And Marilee was just a sweet little tag a long!

I tried to get her to put her head next to Marilee's but she didn't really get it!

Charlie had a great time at the game and got a Zombie bobble head!

Adella got another new dress!  I'm on a sewing kick right now and have been doing some pattern testing.  

I was worried she wouldn't like this one, but she loved it!
