October 13-19

Charlie found Adam's work gloves outside came in and proclaimed to me that he was cookie monster!    He cracks me up!

Sunny day on the slides, they were racing down them so I was lucky enough to capture them together

And given last weeks incident (and another that was not so lucky in unbroken items) this happened

And then because of even more mischievousness, this happened too.  No more highchairs.  They figured out that they could climb in by themselves.  Problem is they are ALMOST heavy enough to also tip them over while trying.  Not waiting for that to happen, so booster seats it is!

At Nora's they made spider hats

At home we played dress up, for some reason Charlie insisted on having his shirt off to be a lion

Even though I claimed I didn't have time to make her Halloween dress, I made this instead- probably more work than her costume would have been, but this just for fun dress is super fun!  Plus I entered it as part of a sew a long and WON!  Woohoo!  I really want to make her a bunch of princess inspired dresses and give it to her for her birthday.  She's not super into dressing up yet, but I can see the signs that we aren't far off!

October 6-12

Hanging out with this girl is always fun!  Seriously, she makes us all so stinking happy, can't imagine not having her as part of our family!
Nora, Charlie and Adella raced, over and over and over.  Oh how I love easy entertainment!

See what I mean about this girl?  Kill me now!

This happens almost every time Nora comes over.  Surprisingly no one usually gets hurt!
Um, and this happened.  Yeah, they did ALL that, surprisingly the only thing they broke was a couple eggs.

At cooking class this week we made tacos!   They had beans and we rolled up like a burrito, so we like to call them beanaritos.

After cooking class we hit the park!  Love that it's cooling off so we can go play (don't love that it seems all the homeless people in town seem to have had some sort of meeting and decided that sleeping in the middle of the day on park equipment is appropriate.  Seriously ON TOP of the slides!  With all their collections of stuff spread all over.  COME ON PEOPLE!  I get it, you are poor, but why why why take that out on other peoples kids.  Having to try to explain to your kid who has been looking forward to going to the park all morning that you can't actually play is not easy.  Go sleep under the trees, I'm sure it's more comfortable.   This has happened at multiple parks on multiple occasions, it sure makes it harder to feel much compassion.  Luckily this day, this park was safe.)

I did my first Jamberry Vendor booth with my friend Paisley.  It was TONS of fun!  We put on lots and lots of wraps and had pretty good sales and booked a party with some more leads.   Can't wait for our next one after Thanksgiving!

September 29-October 5

I love that I can keep them distracted for quite some time by letting them sweep- even better that this dry mop has a telescopic handle that is just their size!  Yes much fighting ensued over whose turn it was!
Nora came to play and we did moon sand!  Charlie actually seemed to enjoy it a bit!

And then we drew with chalk

Getting ready to go play at grandmas and Adella's first time in braids!  I'm kinda obsessed with them now!

We went to cooking class and they loved it!  It's supposed to be 3 and up, but they asked us specifically to come because they are so well behaved- it's the same group that does our play on the go at the library where they always get fun snacks and books!   They ask everyday when cooking class is again!
Marilee was Calico on Calico!

She took a ride in the swing for the first time- pretty much emotionless!

And she turned 7 months!

Marilee continues to be just about the sweetest thing ever!  She loves to grab her toes and toys.  She gets super excited whenever you come near her and talk to her (as long as she isn't tired).  She adores her brother and sister and loves to watch them play!  She is ALMOST 12 lbs and is 23 1/2 in tall.   One funny thing about her is show LOVES getting dressed and undressed.  She thinks its hilarious!  Even when its a a very wet onesie!   We think we picked just about the right name for her, because she is just such a merry little girl!

Funny side note- this last week was General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we watched- well at least tried as much as you can with 3 kids under 3!   But just ask Charlie what the Prophet spoke about and he will tell you - Marilee!   At one point in his talk President Monson said merrily in some context, I can't even remember and boy Charlie and Adella perked right up at that and even remember the next day when we asked them what the Prophet said!
