Work with me!

So I think I have these kids trained too good.  They always look at the camera when I get it out, especially when I DON'T want them to!   They have actually started to play with some of their toys, Charlie especially will reach out and grab things.  One of the best ones are these fun little balls my friend Alix gave them.  They have holes all through them and they are kinda squishy and also nice and light.  However there is one problem, they won't go in their mouths and it makes them seriously mad!  I wanted to get a picture of just how upset it makes them, especially Charlie, but of course they just put the ball aside and stare at the camera, I'm gonna have to try to get it on video I guess!   (Warning, picture overload!)

You can kinda see Charlie's frustration in this one
I tried a different angle so they couldn't see the camera, but you can't see their faces well, but they are seriously trying to jam those suckers in their mouth!

 Buddies!!!

Eyes

Please ignore Adella's drool, it happens, all the time.  That's life, I'm over it, or more appropriately its all over me.  But that's not really the point, the point is check out those eyes!   You might need to click n the picture to blow it up, but you can really tell the color difference in this picture!  Oh how we hope that Charlie's eyes stay blue/grey!!   My original point of taking this picture was to show how cute these two are when they do tummy time facing each other, but of course, when the camera is out they look at it instead.   But that's OK this time because I got this beautiful eye shot!!

A Whole New World!

A new fantastic point of view

These two were hilarious when I took them outside this morning. (pretty please disregard the mess in the background!!)  We just got these chairs last week, and sometimes they like them and others not so much.  Charlie almost always throws a fit after a few minutes.   But I needed to hang up the diapers and he was throwing a fit anyway so I figured I'd try to take them outside in the chairs and see what happened.   LOVE!  They looked and looked around.  Every so often I would look over and they would be staring at each other grinning and babbling.  It was hilarious!    And yes Adella is still a ham for the Camera.  Such a silly girl!

4 Months!

Adella and Charlie are 4 months now!  We are having so much fun with them and are loving watching their little personalities develop.  They go to the Dr next week, so we will find out their stats then.   They both are full of smiles and the occasional giggle which cracks me up every time!  They don't like naps and won't fall asleep unless they are being held, are in a swing or in the carseat.  Little stinkers.  But they sleep so good at night that I can't complain too much!  They are both sleeping through the night most nights, they are starting to wake up earlier which I think is because of the sun coming up, but usually we can still get them back to sleep for awhile.  (Working on blackout curtains!!!)

I love this one, they are checking out Adam, so funny!

Miss Adella still LOVES to be swaddled.  She almost instantly calms down at night and falls right to sleep, no pacifier or anything.  Its seriously night and day difference between naps and bedtime!   She's starting to fit into some of her 3-6 month clothes.  She is super strong and can hold her neck up really well, she rolls from front to back occasionally and LOVES to sit and look around.  Sometimes when she is fussy I'll just pick her up and sit her next to me and she instantly calms down.

And the man of a million faces.  Charlie makes us laugh all the time, he always looks shocked at everything you do.  He perks up at the sound of our voices and gives a completely surprised look.   He is still sleeping in a sleep sack and we are hoping that will keep his movement under control as he doesn't know how to get from front to back but is a PRO at going from back to front.  We think he's going to be very analytical as he concentrates on things very hard, Adella seems more inclined just to act!  He's also looking like he might be a lefty!

Super cheesy grin!

Shocking!
