Dominican Republic! - Tres Ojos

We did a little bit more hiking again the day after Limon, but this time we brought the carriers, and it was a much quicker and milder hike.   This time we hiked into some caves that had rivers.  The cave gets it's name "Tres Ojos" due to it's three lakes, or openings.

Adella honestly was not too thrilled with this arrangement either.  I think she would have preferred the other backpack, but Charlie screamed even worse in this one, so she was stuck!

The water down there was soooo blue and clear.  In one of the lakes it's said to be a fertility lake and if you touch it you will have twins!  I dared it and touched it anyway!

We had to ride a little raft over to get to a larger opening

This wasn't always like this but an earthquake at one time caused the roof too collapse and so this part is all open, and so pretty!

Charlie was actually fairly content in his carrier.

Not so much

What a trooper!

Heading back across

And so relieved to be free!
